Habit Booster – Habit Tracking App
- The brand and its background.
- This brand was created because of some New Year’s resolutions I created. I have always had a hard time making goals for myself and sticking to them and that’s something I’d like to work on. I find that if I write things down I can hold myself more accountable. I began looking for apps that I could use for this but nothing met all the requirements I needed. I wanted an app that would allow me to track my habit goals for things such as exercise, sleep, water intake and diet, while also acting as a journal for me to write down my thoughts about my habit creation journey. I then thought it would be a nice addition if I could get sent reminders throughout the day motivating me to continue meeting my goals, this is how Habit Booster was created.
- Goals and objectives
- Create a wellness app that allows users to track multiple habits, sends users daily motivational quotes and acts as a calendar all in one.
- Audience: who is your target audience.
- My target audience has a wide range age-wise because it could be for high school aged kids all the way through middle aged adults. Mainly my app will serve as a motivational tool for anyone looking to promote healthy habits. I imagine this will fall in the hands of athletes or anyone who enjoys being active.
- Messaging and tone [an example of this is: “Messaging and tone: We want to empower our audience to be creators and use Apollo Enterprises’ new product as part of their most valued suite of tools. We should celebrate the target audience for working with their hands and make them feel proud of their creations.”
- “We want our users to get into healthy daily routines that will eventually turn into habits that you don’t need to think about. Motivation comes from all different places, we’re hoping you can find it with us.”
- Assets and deliverables: What is the final product? Where will you get the images, videos, and icons that you will use?
- The final product is an app. Most everything that goes into it will be designed by me in illustrator. I don’t plan on using many images, mostly icons that I will create independently.
- Highlight challenges and objectives.
- I foresee my biggest challenge being the aesthetics of the app. For people to use it as motivation, it needs to be pleasing to look at. There will be multiple different tabs and pages and I need to make sure that they all can be differentiated from each other while also being cohesive.
